Endorsement of Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld

The 1st District needs SFR
Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld is a man who is passionate about his community and does what he
thinks is best for his neighbors. He has a long history of advocating for the environment,
which is equally as important as other issues, regardless of the economy. If we were to put
off these sorts of items until times are better, we would end up putting them off indefinitely.
Fiore-Rosenfeld is on the case and has stated that land preservation is one of his highest
priorities.
The councilman has also supported freezing taxes, is present in the community and makes
himself available to residents. He led the push for the referendum that separated the town
into council districts before he was elected councilman, making councilmembers accountable
to residents in a specific area.
Some say Fiore-Rosenfeld neglects areas that are south of the coastline but, in recent memory
alone, the councilman has brought an Operation Clean Sweep initiative to Port Jefferson
Station and has helped the town acquire more land in the Terryville Greenbelt conservation
area next to Comsewogue High School and clean it up; also he helped the Cumsewogue
Historical Society acquire and renovate the Terryville Union Hall, getting it landmark status.
We endorse the re-election of Councilman Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld
for Brookhaven’s 1st Council District.

Welcome!
Welcome to my new campaign website whereby we will be striving to introduce, in another format, the nearly 80,000 or so residents who live in our 1st Council District, to the work I’ve been continuing to do on our families’ behalf.
When one speaks about quality of life I can tell you first hand it means different things to different people, however in our Three Village and greater Port Jefferson communities most agree it is at the most fundamental level a healthy, wholesome environment in which to live and thrive.
At the town level of municipal government on Long Island this simple request is not always easy to accomplish but it is critical to all of our families’ success now and into our collective future.
I hope that as this website grows and you peruse its webpages you’ll find that I put you, your family, and the environment in which we all live, first and foremost in my decision making as a Councilman in Brookhaven and will continue doing so with your support.
Your contributions toward re-election are always needed, whether they are of your time, money or other assistance – so please sign up to volunteer to make some calls, host a lawn sign, donate some money, or many other ways to assist and become one of the growing number of the “Friends of SFR”
